New in - RICK OWENS AW13 SHEARLING BOOTS

Last week I purchased these Rick Owens on massive sale and they came the other day! To be honest, I've been sick with influenza and off work for a week! I felt like death with a high fever and many other horrible symptoms so these precious babies were the perfect thing to lift my spirits! As mentioned in the title, these are the AW13 shearling boots. I must say, the leather is so soft on these pair and the lining inside is warm. I was actually a little surprised by the soles since I didn't expect them to be like that but I like them this way too. Amazing quality boots for an amazing price! (it was about 60% off what the printed label on the box has!).

New in - RICK OWENS LEATHERVEST

wearing: Rick Owens vest, DIY'ed Monki outwear/dress, Dr Denim jeans & creeper shoes

Just a new outfit post featuring my Rick Owens leather vest. Found this for a steal at Ragtag in Harajuku. For only about 35000 yen!!! Like brand new too! I always recommend these second hand designer stores to people, not only for their great prices but also to find some immaculate past season items.

p.s sorry for the shitty video! I thought I could crop the sides in iMovie but I suppose you can't :(. Oh well now I know!

RICK OWENS - FW14, MOODY

As many Rick Owens enthusiasts would know, Rick recently showed his FW14 collection, MOODY. I am rarely unimpressed by Ricks work and this was no exception. This seasons head gear remind me somewhat of the women's SS09 collection. I personally, absolutely love the 09' women's head gear, more so than this seasons but I still like that this concept was introduced to the mens line as well. I also liked the shapes and materials used (especially outfit 14), however I couldn't bring myself to like chocolate brown colour used in the first part of the show. Furthermore, I also didn't like the shoes!!! I was never a fan of the elephant boots so this mixture of the elephant and ramone shoes was not appealing to me at all. But, to each their own right?

Rinko Kikuchi for Jalouse magazine China December 2013 issue

images via fashiongonerogue

It's been a while since I've posted any editorial pictures but I saw this one of Rinko and I had to share it! I really think Rinko Kikuchi is beautiful! This kind of dark/punk/rocker style really suits her :)

Hello and hope everyone had a great christmas and new year!!!!! It's 2014 now and I look forward to this year and I have some of my own projects I would like to start working on once I get back to Australia! So although I plan for that to happen quite late in the year, please look forward to it as I'll announce it on here once it's up and running.

Next! The above photos and video is of the things I purchased in Tokyo last week with my boyfriend (minus the obscur jacket). I purchased the Obscur leather jacket from my favourite Brisbane store Fallow and the rest I bought on sale at boutiques or second hand designer stores. As for the Julius coat, my boyfriend bought that for me!!!! :O. I would suggest visiting second hand designer stores in Tokyo not only because they are cheaper than RRP but also because you may be able to find such rare amazing pieces. I bought the Rick Owens wedge leather vest (from SS11 - ANTHEM collection) for only about $340... Such a rare and immaculate piece for so cheap... Although it's not guaranteed, you might as well give them a go. You'll never know what you might find. Overall, I'm very happy with what I came back with considering how much money I took to Tokyo :). For now it's back to work, save up those yen bills and spend some and save some :)

Below are some non-item pictures. Enjoy!

So that is all of my new year update! I hope you all have a great 2014! Work hard, play harder. Things you want to achieve don't come easily and you might not even get to achieve them but if you want it enough, there's no harm in trying. Be smart about it but also know when to let it go. But most of all ENJOY IT! ENJOY LIFE!
