My wardrobe has had some amazing new additions since being in Japan, both from overseas purchases and purchases from Japan. Black is about 99% of my wardrobe. Black is me. Black (as well as fashion) is my life. It has taken me so long to tweak and get my wardrobe to a state that I am quite proud of. Although there is so many more items I would like to introduce to my little family, it takes time, money and a lot of hard work. But to me, it's worth it. This is what I live for. I can't wait to get back to Australia to try and start new projects with what I love to do best.

YOHJI YAMAMOTO WOMEN'S FW14
images via style.com
To be honest, I think Yohji Yamamoto's show was my favourite this season for womenswear. Surprisingly even over Rick Owens!!! I've always loved puffy items and I'm quite liking Yohji's work as of late. His men's prints last collection were immaculate! For his women's season, I found the zips quite intriguing. At first, I got a slight Chrome Hearts vibe but I don't think he collaborated with them this season. Eitherway, nice to see some cool zip detailing!

wearing: plain black T-shirt - uniqlo, necklace - chrome hearts, shorts - Rick Owens, leather jacket - Obscur, boots - Rick Owens
Thought it's about time to outfit post my new Obscur leather jacket from Fallow as well as my new shearling Rick Owens boots :). I only just realised after typing this entry that everything I'm wearing was actually bought on sale at various places! (minus the uniqlo T). I'm not rich and I buy all of my own things so basically 99% of the time I scour around for sale pieces and I must say I think I am either lucky or just skilled in finding great sale pieces :P. I too was once a fairly poor uni student but I hope you guys don't lose hope and save and scour! I have loved fashion for a long while now but only recently have I settled and finally found my true self and style in this so called "dark style" niche. These "materialistic" clothes and shoes etc. not only make me happy and comfortable with myself but they make me feel confident and cool. They give me self positivity and it is just a massive part of my life. I can't explain it much in words but it means so so so much more to me than just simply being "things you wear". I went off on a tangent but oh well :P

RICK OWENS - FW14, MOODY
As many Rick Owens enthusiasts would know, Rick recently showed his FW14 collection, MOODY. I am rarely unimpressed by Ricks work and this was no exception. This seasons head gear remind me somewhat of the women's SS09 collection. I personally, absolutely love the 09' women's head gear, more so than this seasons but I still like that this concept was introduced to the mens line as well. I also liked the shapes and materials used (especially outfit 14), however I couldn't bring myself to like chocolate brown colour used in the first part of the show. Furthermore, I also didn't like the shoes!!! I was never a fan of the elephant boots so this mixture of the elephant and ramone shoes was not appealing to me at all. But, to each their own right?
